Happy Thursday booklovers!
Excited to share with you today my review of this delightful story that is part of one of my favorite series! Huge thank you to Rachel for my invitation to the tour and to Emily Harvale for her wonderful words!💞
Return to Lily Pond Lane
Life couldn’t be better for Mia and her friends in Little Pondale – until tragedy strikes…
Mia Ward is on cloud nine after a magical Christmas and New Year and she isn’t the only one. Everyone on Lily Pond Lane seems to be living in blissful harmony. Until tragedy strikes… not once, but twice. And as Hettie Turner points out: ‘Bad things always come in threes.’
Whilst the other residents of Little Pondale are wondering what might happen next, Mia is busy worrying about her friends and trying to help them with their grief. But she needs to be careful. Just when she thought she had everything, there’s a very real chance she might lose the only thing she truly wants.
My Thoughts
Another fabulous installment in this delightful series!
Reading a book in Emily Harvale‘s Lily Pond Lane series is like coming home! I just love everything about this series… the adorable small village setting, the quirky and colorful characters, The bond and friendship that all these characters share, and of course the drama. This is the fifth book in the series it could probably be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend reading the entire series it is so much fun!
Tragedy has struck Little Pondale not only once but twice. Mia and friends are convinced that bad things happen in threes so they are waiting for that third shoe to drop, and drop it does. I have to admit I thought this story was going to take a direction I really didn’t want it to take for a hot minute. The drama in this book will definitely keep you on your toes.
Loved spending the afternoon with these amazing characters, and I am looking forward to the next time!
*** many thanks to Rachel and Emily Harvale for my copy of this book ***
