This was a spicy sassy romance filled with beautiful scenery and gorgeous Cowboys… there is always something so alluring about a small town romance… makes this city girl want to pack her bags and head to the country….

Emma finds herself at her grandma‘s farm trying to sort things out after heartache and her grandma’s death… Emma left her life in New York where she loved her job and she thought she loved her former boss… can this city girl find what she needs in the country…Shep… Love the guy, hate the name… should not be thinking about the new girl in town, he has a cattle ranch to save….

I really liked both Emma and Shep… I found the chemistry between them real and they seemed so perfect for one another… there is Insta love in this book, so if that is not your thing you are forewarned…. The only part of this book that I didn’t love was when Jake came around, I just thought that part didn’t need to happen, but clearly that is my own opinion… can’t wait for the next books in this series, I found Shep’s brothers Chase and Nash a little more intriguing than him…

Absolutely recommend to fans of romance, Cowboys, spice, and love💕

Sean Bell, brother of the (ex) Priest Tyler Bell is a bad man….in his own words a Sinner.

He is a ruthless business man who likes to work and play hard.

After the death of his sister Lizzy to suicide (which we read about in book #1) he kind of associated God and the Church in a bad light, which is understandable considering Lizzy was abused by a Priest.

Tyler went one way, into Priesthood to try and atone somehow, and Sean……Well Sean went the other way.

I never did therapy after Lizzy’s death; I was young and stubborn and certain I didn’t need it. Instead, I buried the pain and anger with drinking and sex and chasing after money.

One evening Sean goes to a big firm party, he does all of his usual schmoozing and eyes up a few potential ladies for later………until he sees her on the balcony.

After speaking and flirting mercilessly with her, he has an almost kiss, when he is interrupted by an important phone call.

The girl (Mary) says she can’t see him again as she is going away, and although he doesn’t want to, be leaves.

Sean is given a big case in his firm, basically he buys and sells buildings, there is a perfect building that he wants……trouble is, it’s being used as a homeless shelter.

Fortunately, “Mary’s” Novice Mistress is quite modern and ‘down wid da kids’ and lets them make up their own minds about becoming a part of the church.

She thinks that there should be at least some temptation for the Novices, otherwise, how do they know what they will be giving up? …..Makes sense I suppose 😦

Anyhoo……

Mary/Zenny decides that if she is going to be tempted away from the church then she doesn’t want it to be anyone else but Sean that does it, but with Sean and his beliefs about the church, this proves to be a sticky subject.

Zenny clearly spells out to Sean that she wants him to have sex with her, and the inner turmoil begins!

Does he do it???? OF COURSE HE DOES, 😇😇😇

And the 2 of them together is scorching hot, Sean is a patient teacher to Zenny
and both of them together is off the scales hot.

“Zenny,” I mumble against her lips, some valiant part of me recognizing that this is far, far beyond the kiss she asked for, and also recognizing that I’m going to come all over the inside of my Hugo Boss suit pants if she keeps it up.  Even through the clothes, I can feel her heat, her shameless rolls hinting at where she goes soft and wet between her legs.

Well, this audio book…….this book is something that you certainly don’t want to accidentally start playing on the bus without realizing 😱

Ok i do love an alpha male douche bag, i can’t help it, and Coulton Donovan was one on wheels….literally!

He is a famous Racing driver, and obviously handsome!

With enough sexual tension to make you combust (See what i did there?)

Rylee and Coulton do have a little bit of a 50 shades vibe to them (she is clumsy and he is very dominant) but that is where the similarities end.

I’m not sure, but i think i can see where the next few books are heading, maybe something with the little boy but i’m not sure.

This looks like this was K. Bromberg’s first book I will allow her a BIG pass because her other books are amazing and 5 star all the way make sure to check out her other ones and see the difference in the writing.

I originally read this book a year or so ago, but it didn’t seem to have the impact that the audio book had!!

Lets just get to the narrators, Jacob Morgan.

Now, as you may (or may not) already know, Jacob is a pseudonym used by another famous narrator, I won’t blab about it here because he obviously uses it for a reason, but his voice literally turns me into goo, a big puddle of goo 🔥

Elena Wolfe, again is a psudonym for another fantastic narrator, both of these people are 2 of my absolute favourites, her male voice is one of the sexiest around in my opinion, and teamed together with Sierra Simone’s writing I am certainly invested in this pair!

The Story

Sierra Simone is certainly the Queen of sexy stories, if you haven’t tried her out then I would definitely recommend her.

**Fair Warning, this is not a book to be reading if you are of the religious variety, it is something that will probably have you going to confession for reading it!**

Tyler Bell is handsome, 29 years old and is a Priest he has been for three years. Before that he was a normal everyday man, he’s been to college and been around the block if you know what I mean?

There are reasons for him becoming a priest but spoilers people!

Poppy Danforth comes to confession one day, sits in the booth, and confesses her sins as any normal person does.

She comes from a privileged background, but after something happens she decides to give that life up, again spoilers people!

Her confessions are shall we say, a little dark, this intrigues Father Bell and he starts to get a little obsessed with her.

This book is sexy, very very sexy (Sierra Simone you dirty dirty girl 😘), however it isn’t all about the sex!

There a brilliant story within the pages, you have to watch as Father Bell struggles with his beliefs, and it is sometimes really sad to read.

This little story will set your Kindle on fire, if you are listening to the audio (highly recommended by the way) then make sure you have those earbuds firmly in!

Narrated by the queen of sexy voices Andi Arndt, this was a perfect read/listen for me.

I loved all of the characters especially David and Ev
This didn’t have the usual boring “oh he looked at little ol me” Mary Sue in it, Ev can look after herself……..well sort of!

Now I’m not sure about you other girls but this kind of thing happens to me all the time…………. Yeah it does to you too, look at you, I can see you grinning from here

But obviously we can’t talk about it……..Lawyers eh!!

So reading this was a little bit like reading my Saturday night a few weeks ago, I mean I have to calm down, I’m getting old and I’m on my 4th annulment this year! !!

Let me see the similarities

Ev pops off to Vegas with her friend ( check )and has a few to many tequilas ( check ), after that she can’t remember anything( check )…….wakes up in the morning with a banging head ( check ) with a massive diamond ring on her finger ( check ) and a gorgeous rockstar next to her in bed ( check )

I mean it’s like Kylie Scott has been googling me or something ……….perhaps I have a stalker!!

Anyway if you want to read about me and my life, well I’m afraid you can’t, I have signed a legal contract, but if you want to read this brilliant book with a great storyline, great characters and a nice bit of hot sex thrown in then be my guest.

You could just change the names I suppose it’s pretty much what happened to me………..

After reading V’s stellar review of this book, I took a look back at my own …. funny how we took a slightly different approach to this, but had the same basic premise, admittedly I like her review better! Anyways I thought this was a great start to a fabulous series, but I think the second book was my absolute favorite in the series!

🎧🎧🎧 The book was narrated bye Andy Arnt and I think that V would agree we both have a bit of a girl crush on her! She truly is the most fabulous near raider when it comes to romance, the girl can sure work that male voice!😍

So here is my review from July 2016 ……

Never in my life, have I woke up from a drunken night next to a super hot guy, who is filthy rich, and has already developed feelings for me….. why has this not happened to me yet…. I keep waiting… and it still isn’t happening???😕

Maybe I need to quickly Book me a trip to Vegas….

This book just proves my point, if you like fantasy…. you will truly enjoy romance!💕 Even though this book was highly unlikely, to actually happen I still loved it!
Eve was a fabulous character… filled with spunk, sass, and clearly some unpredictability…. I truly enjoyed the girl…. David was a good character as well, but I believe I liked her a bit more..:.. They were very cute together….: and undeniably a perfect match…..

I was happy to see how this book ends…. and I’m absolutely going to read the next book in the series…. I think I might find Mal A little more compelling……

Highly recommend this book and all the other books in the series to all fans of love, romance, girls with some sass, and hot musicians😍

The 3rd installment in my 2017 favourites is this little beauty.

I kept hearing about this one in a Facebook group that I am in, so I had to see what all the fuss was about.

Greer Galloway is the granddaughter of a previous American Vice President so she knows a thing or two about politics, her grandfather uses this to his benefit as she is small and cute, and is able to flit around the room unnoticed during parties, while simultaneously gaining information about people for him, by listening to their private conversations…..sneaky!

Fast forward a few years, Greer is quite an expert in reading peoples faces from the groundwork she has done for her grandfather.
At one of these parties she meets a man called Ash, he is handsome and kind to her, considering she is always in the shadow of her gorgeous best friend.

Greer and Ash share a kiss, nothing else, just a kiss, she is only 15 after all, she doesn’t see him again, until later on.

6 years later she is at yet another party, and meets a hot young dude called Embry, now Greer is upset that Ash is also at the party but hasn’t either recognised her, or is ignoring her, so what is a girl to do right?
Embry deflowers Greer and she realises that she kinda likes him, but Embry is a bit of a playboy douche and that all goes out of the window…….or does it?

Did I forget to mention that Ash is now the President of the good ol US of A, and certainly hasn’t forgotten about Greer. Sorry about that……..
