About Last Night by A. S. Kelly **Book Promo** @rararesources

Hello book friends!

Excited to share with you today this book that shares a title with one of my all-time favorite movies! This book looks SO good and I’m hoping to find some time to read it in the near future!

About Last Night

Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Tyler Hayes, and I’m a fireman.

Sorry to already disappoint you, but I’m not the person you think I am.

My charming uniform and seductive smile have caused nothing but trouble, and my not-so-honourable reputation, which I used to be so proud of, has kept me away from the one person I wanted to spend the rest of my life baking cookies for; my sweet, beautiful, slightly crazy Miss White.

I guess now I need to tell the whole story.

At forty years old, following years of self-sabotage, I’ve suddenly found myself admitting that I know absolutely nothing. Maybe my friend Niall was right when he told me to accept the process and just grow up. And now it’s too late; I’ll never be able to keep her close to me. All that’s left to do is watch helplessly – but deservedly – as my world comes tumbling down around me.

Promises at Indigo Bay by Ellen Oaksmith **Book Review** @bookouture

Happy Monday all!

This is the second book and this heartwarming series that I have absolutely fallen in love with!🍇

My Thoughts

Romance, friendship, family, and wine. This is the second book in Ellyn Oaksmith’s delightful small town romance series set in Washington’s Wine country. This book can absolutely be read as a standalone, but I think once you are enchanted by these characters you will want to go back and read the first book. Stela’s Life is perfect! She lives in a gorgeous small town, owns her own business, has an amazing best friend, and is living with the man of her dreams. When her boyfriend Paolo calls her to tell her he has a surprise for her when she gets home Stella is concerned. Stella does NOT want to get married, things are perfect just as they are why do they need to change. Unfortunately it is even more complicated than all that. Now Stella is left questioning the future and that starts with facing her past.

This was a sweet heartwarming story. It was lovely to go back to this charming small town and spend time with these characters. It was fun to see what Carmen was up to, I love her friendship with Stella even though it was a little shaky at times during this book. Stella and Paolo’s Romance started in the previous book so it was nice to see how much their love has grown. We also get to meet Paolo’s Italian mother in this book, and wow is she one intimidating woman. I sure felt for Stella as she try to get this formidable woman to like her. My only tiny complaint with the story is I wish that we got to spend more time with Stella and Paolo as a couple. They were always expressing how much they loved one another, but I didn’t necessarily feel it like I wanted to. I probably classify this as more women’s fiction than straight Romance-there is a lot packed into this little gem.

About the Book

Our life together meant more to me than he could possibly imagine. I just wanted another night. I thought I knew what was coming. A proposal. If only it had been that simple.

Things are finally working out for Stella Gallagher. Unlucky in love and faced with limited options in her small town, she was beginning to give up on romance altogether, until mysterious Italian Paolo Gentillo moved to Chelan…

Paolo is smart, kind, gorgeous and, most importantly, they’re completely obsessed with each other: Stella has finally found her match. Everything would be perfect, except there are things she hasn’t told Paolo—she doesn’t know how he’s going to feel about her when he finds out about her past…

So when Paolo proposes, Stella panics: it’s way too soon. She wants to be with him, but suddenly they’re talking about forever. He doesn’t even know the real her, she’s scared to face up to her secret, and she’s never felt so alone. Is the damage from her past going to threaten her chance at a perfect future?

A heart-warming story about learning to trust in yourself and the people you love, Promises at Indigo Bay will show you that it’s never too late to try for your happy ending. For fans of Robyn Carr, Carolyn Brown and Debbie Macomber.
