Happy Friday all!
And just like that distance-learning is over! Thank goodness. Hopefully we will have that school thing figured out by August when school goes back! This was such a delightful book that I enjoyed every minute of, I was so sad to have to say goodbye to these characters at the end. 🏖
My Thoughts
Salt, sea, and baby makes three. This was such a delightful story that I was bummed to see end, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these fabulous characters. Veronica Henry infuse so much emotion and charm into this engaging story. Robyn and Jake are having a baby. They are so excited and in love, but they know this will bring changes to their carefree lifestyle. Robyn was adopted by amazing parents, but now about to have a baby of her own she is contemplating reaching out to her birth mother. Jake has never believed in marriage especially because his parents marriage didn’t work out that well. But now that he is about to be a father and their dream home is almost complete, he begins to see that marrying Robyn might be the way to go. Jake and Robyn have such amazing family and friends Who are all determined to give this couple the wedding of their dreams. The lead up to the wedding is full of emotion, heart, hope, second chances, and new beginnings.
Loved this book! I loved these characters and I loved every single minute I spent with them. Robyn was such a phenomenal character who I would love to be friends with. Her relationship with Jake was so sweet, the love between them really poured from the pages. The backstory of her birth mother Emily was heartbreaking I really felt for the girl. All the secondary characters in this book were spectacular and I have to give a special shout out to Gwen and Clover who I particularly loved. A lovely beach read with a whole lot of heart!
