My Thoughts
An adrenaline pumping, heart pounding, action packed romance.Adventure, Romance, monkeys, secret cities, hidden tunnels, treasure, machetes, mercenaries, mud, insects, rescues, and humor. Wow Camilla Isley this was unexpected! This was so much more than a enemies to lovers romcom. The story starts off innocently enough Winter catches Logan chasing after a monkey who has confiscated his phone. Oh and did I mention that Logan was naked? Then Winter finds out that she will be spending the next month working with Logan, who seems less than pleased. Logan is an archaeologist and Winter is a travel photographer, they will be traveling through the jungles of Thailand looking for a lost city of gold. The story had my heart racing as Logan and Winter fought to survive. This book was very heavy on the adventure, but I have to say I was all in. Winter was a bad ass and Logan wasn’t too bad either. Even though I didn’t always feel the chemistry between them, I think it kind of develop organically and by the time they got together it really worked. Another winner in this fun series and I’m really looking forward to the next one!
