My Thoughts
Romance and a road trip. Once again I went traveling through the pages of my book, this time to Australia. Giulia Skye has written an entertaining and refreshing romance with a little steam. Michael Adams is a famous Canadian Olympic swimmer who escapes to Australia to flee the paparazzi. Evie lives in England and was planning to take a trip of a lifetime with her partner, but he bailed on her so she decides to take the trip on her own. The two of them have a meet cute (sort of) and then decide to travel the Australian wild together. Not wanting to be recognized Michael introduces himself as Adam and Evie is none the wiser. What follows is an engaging story combining romance and travel.
I had fun with this book, I enjoyed traveling along with Adam and Evie. I also enjoyed waiting for the shoe to drop, you know eventually itâs going to come out that Adam has been lying and I kept wondering what Evieâs reaction was going to be. Evie was such a warm hearted sweet girl you did not want her to get duped by Adam. But Adam seemed like a good guy who just got caught up in a bad situation? But lying is lying. For a while I was wondering if thereâs any chance they could actually end up together? I mean not only was Adam lying, but the two of them lived across the world from one another. A sweet story that made me smile!

I also enjoyed this one Berit. It was fun, and I was happy with the ending. Adam did make me very angry at times though.
