If you have not read this series yet run don’t walk to wherever you purchase books and get the first book in the series and binge it immediately! If you are already familiar with Josie Quinn and this fabulous series, I seriously think this is the best one yet!🤩

My Thoughts

This series just keeps getting better and better and better… this is the seventh book in the series end it could be read as a standalone, but I would strongly encourage you to read this entire series. There is so much character growth throughout the books and the characters continuous story arc adds to the brilliance of the series. The story kicks off with two dead bodies at a campsite in the woods and then a pregnant woman fleeing out of the trees in the same forest. As Josie and Noah begin to investigate they run across a “sanctuary“ in the middle of the woods. What follows is a wild investigation involving murder, kidnapping, a cult, and a hermit. All this is going on while Josie continues to wrestle with her demons and come to terms with her estranged mother’s impending death.

This crime thriller was so cleverly plotted and perfectly pased. I was completely sucked in from the very first page then at about 80% the tension was ramped way up and I was unable to tear my eyes from the pages. My heart was pounding and my mind was racing, I needed to find out what the heck was going on. I had a slight inclination as to the direction these cases were going in, but I had no idea of the complexities involved. Once again my detective hats off to you Lisa Regan! If you have not read this series run don’t walk to wherever it is you purchase books from Anne start bingeing this brilliant series, and if you are already a fan this is the best one yet!

Hello Friends!

This romance lover term thriller lover has recently gone back to her roots. I have read so many amazing romances lately making me really remember why I love the romance genre!😍

My Thoughts

A heartwarming story that will put a smile on your face and an extra flutter in your heart. When I discovered that Denise Hunter has written several books that have been made into Hallmark movies I was not surprised. Her descriptive writing and vivid characters really brought this book to life. Not to mention it was so full of family, heart, love, and hope. Molly and her siblings Levi and Haley have recently lost their parents. Determined to keep their parents dreams alive they will do what it takes to turn there run down home into an Inn. One of their first guess is Adam. Adam is sweet and helpful and a little awkward. He is also the best selling author Nathaniel Grey but this is something that only his agent and his best friend know. When Molly discovers a old letter in the wall that never was sent Adam and she decide to bring some closure to the recipient. Will this bring Adam and Molly closer together? And what will happen when his secret comes out?

The romance between Molly and Adam was so sweet. Although it did take them some time to figure it out! I also loved the relationship between all the siblings, they really were so there for one another. This is a series so I’m assuming they will each get their HEA. The secondary story involving the letter really added so much texture to the book. Something I really loved was that there is a crazy coincidence in this book and it was completely addressed. So often in Books there are some things that seem way too unlikely to be coincidental, but in the case of this book they just put it out there and I really appreciated that. If you enjoy a sweet clean romance this one’s for you!

This week went fast! I’ve read so many wonderful books I got so much done, and still I have so much more to do!’tis the season to be busy!🎄

My Thoughts

This story was short, sweet, festive, and French! A small book with a big heart! This is the second book in the French Escape series and although I think it could be read as a standalone I think I enjoyed it more because I had read the previous book. Poppy and Leo met and fell in love in the first book. Now it is Poppy’s first Christmas in France and she is filled with holiday cheer and insecurities. It’s like she can’t believe that Leo actually loves her, this did get a little tedious but I get it. Despite her insecurities Poppy is such a fun and whimsical character. I loved all the emails between her and her BFF and mom back in the UK. The treasure hunt was loads of fun. And the dogs still were as adorable as ever! The perfect book to curl up with on a lazy afternoon with a cup of hot chocolate and your furry friend by your side.
