My Thoughts
I devoured this book just as I would a cone of ice cream! This book was a delicious treat, but not very good for the diet! Isabella May writes delightful stories that will make you smile, swoon, and salivate! Giovanna is living the life she thinks she’s always dreamed of until she is betrayed by the people who can hurt her the most. Completely devastated and unsure of what’s next Giovanna sets off on a journey to discover Italy. What she ends up discovering is herself, new dreams, and all kinds of crazy flavors of ice cream! When she returns home what transpires is chaotic, complex, and consuming. What a fun book full of family drama, humor, drizzled with adventure, and topped off with romance.
Giovanna was a great character I loved traveling with her around Italy. And all the ice cream! Oh the ice cream! So many amazing flavors this girl came up with I truly wanted to try them all! When she got home I was a little skeptical of what she was up to. Questioned her motivations a little, but I could completely understand where she was coming from. After all revenge is a dish best served cold. Just like ice cream! Simply put this was a delectable story guaranteed to delight! The perfect Summer read so grab the book, grab a spoon, grab some ice cream and have a scrumptious day!🍦

Author Bio –
Isabella May lives in (mostly) sunny Andalucia, Spain with her husband, daughter and son, creatively inspired by the sea and the mountains. Having grown up on Glastonbury’s ley lines however, she’s unable to completely shake off her spiritual inner child, and is a Law of Attraction fanatic.
